Evzahu’l-Mesâlikilâ Ma‘rifeti’l-Büldânve’l-Memâlik

The work begins by providing information on Sipâhîzâde Mehmed’s life, duties, personality, and other works. Next, general information about Evzahu’l-mesâlik is presented; the Arabic and Turkish manuscripts of the work are introduced; and information is provided not only on the work’s connection to its primary source, Takvîmü’l-büldân, but also on its other sources, the methods used to draw upon these sources, and the work’s influence. Finally, a transcription is created based on a comparison of the work’s three manuscripts.
