The first section, covering the years the author served at court (1106–1115/1695–1703), provides a detailed account of the accession of Mustafa II, the organization of the campaigns against Austria, their chronology, the names of the staging posts, the ratios of soldiers to ammunition, and fortification activities.

The period from 1116 to 1133/1704 to 1721, considered the second part of the Nusretname, corresponds to the years when the author was not in the service of the court. Consequently, in this section, where events are summarized in a more concise manner compared to the first part, the author describes diplomatic exchanges, preparations for campaigns, the course of battles, the treaties concluded, and the texts of these treaties. The work concludes with the asylum granted to King Charles XII of Sweden by the Ottoman Empire and, finally, the 1133/1721 Niş Incident.
