Dîvân-ı Hafî

'This work, which will contribute to the writing of the history of Turkish literature, presents the Divan of Edirneli Hafî, one of the poets of the reign of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, to those interested in the subject. A comparative text was prepared using the identified Zagreb and Saint Petersburg manuscripts of the Divan, as well as certain anthologies. The work consists of two sections; in the first section, Hafî’s life, works, and literary personality were evaluated based on information from biographical sources and the poet’s own works. The second section examines the poetic forms found in the Divan and introduces the manuscript copies as well as certain anthologies containing Hafî’s poems. Finally, the transcribed text of the poems is provided.
