2019 Aziz Sancar Science, Service and Incentive Awards to TÜBA Members
TÜBA Principal Member Prof. Dr. Özcan Erel, TÜBA-GEBİP Members Assoc. Prof. Nurcan Tunçbağ and Assoc. Prof. Engin Özçivici were awarded with 2019 Aziz Sancar Science, Service and Incentive Awards given on behalf of Nobel Lautrate and TÜBA Honorary Member Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar.
Award winner scientist took their awards from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the ceremony on October 31, 2019 under the auspices of the Presidency and held by Turkey Institutes of Health Administration (TÜSEB).
Stating that the contribution to science is the contribution to humanity, TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker said that the works done from all over the world is the common denominator of humanity in this direction. He also congratulated Academy Principal Member Prof. Erel and TÜBA-GEBİP Members Assoc. Prof. Tunçbağ and Assoc. Prof. Özçivici on behalf of Academy.
