TUBA World Conference on Energy Science and Technology
TÜBA World Conference on Energy Science and Technology (TUBA WCEST-2021) was held online between 8-12 August 2021.
The program started with the opening speeches of Mr. Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology and Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, President of TÜBA. The Programme included three panels; environment and economy in the first, energy and education in the second, and photovoltaic systems in the third. Scientists and experts from energy and energy-related organizations from Italy to America, from England to Singapore, from Canada to the world’s leading universities and institutions attended the conference in all five days morning and afternoon sessions. A total of 21 parallel sessions and panels were held about traditional energy solutions, fossil resources, renewable energy, hydrogen energy technologies, smart buildings, green technology, etc. 122 presentations were made at the Conference, which
included 28 key speakers and 28 invited speakers from 35 different countries, consisting of leading researchers, heads of international institutions, experts and editors in chief from different/number of journals, with the participation of approximately 1500 people in total. TUBA WCEST-2021 was carefully followed by the scientific community and the relevant people.
TUBA WCEST-2021, which was held over Zoom, was broadcast live on the Academy’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/turkiyebilimlerakademisi - for five days.
