TÜBA Principle Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet Nuri Yurdusev Started in His Position as Deputy Chairman

TÜBA Principle Member and Middle Eastern Technical University International Relations Department Teaching Staff Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet Nuri Yurdusev started his position as the TÜBA Deputy Chairman on January 1, 2015.

Elected to TÜBA Principle Membership in 2012, Prof. Yurdusev was educated in Turkey and England. While continuing in his job at METU, Professor Ahmet Nuri Yurdusev was also a guest teacher at Oxford University (England) and Kansai University (Japan). With special interest in international relations theory, European identity and Ottoman diplomacy, Prof. Yurdusev was also elected to Academy Council membership in 2012. Yurdusev is the author of International Relations and the Philosophy of History: A Civilizational Approach (Palgrave Macmillan, 2003) and has a compilation called Ottoman Diplomacy: Conventional or Unconventional? (Palgrave Macmillan, 2004).
