TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar Attended the 2015 World Science Forum
TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar attended the World Science Forum, held in Budapest on November 4-7, upon the invitation of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
After the event, which was held with great success in Rio de Janeiro in 2013, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with UNESCO, ICSU, AAAS, TWAS and EASAC hosted the 2015 World Science Forum.
The 2015 Forum, which was organized under the main theme of “The Enabling Power of Science”, the speakers revealed the capacity of science on the issues of improving human life, operation innovation and forming policies, and expressed their ideas to the target audience through six general assembly meetings and nine thematic meetings as well as a number of other activities.
TÜBA President Acar also visited the Hungarian Academy of Sciences President Prof. Dr. László Lovász and TÜBA Honorary Member Prof. Dr. Gyorgy Hazai, who was in the process of undergoing treatment, and examined items in the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Manuscripts Department with Associate Professor Dr. Ahmet Arslantürk.
