TÜBA Member Prof. Dr. İsenbike Togan is Elected Member of the Board of the International Union of Academies - Union Académique Internationale

Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Honorary Member Prof. Dr. İsenbike Togan, was elected member of the Board of the International Union of Academies (IUA, Union Académique Internationale-UAI) for humanities and social sciences (http://www.uai-iua.org). Her mandate which was given at the 86^th General Assembly meeting held in New Delhi in January 2012, will be valid for three years, until the 88^th General Assembly meeting to be held in Brussels in 2015.IUA-UAI founded in 1919, is seated in Brussels, national academies and research institutes from more than 60 countries are its members. TÜBA is a member of the IUA-UAI since the 80^th General Assembly meeting held in 2006.
