TÜBA-GEBİP Members Receive the ‘METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa N. Parlar Training and Research Foundation Award’
2015 Year TÜBA-GEBİP Award winners Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Bozkaya and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Yıldız, Assist. Prof. Dr. Engin Durgun and 2012 Year Award winner Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Keskin Avcı were granted the METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa N. Parlar Training and Research Foundation Research Encouragement Award’.
The Research Encouragement Award intended for junior researchers below the age of 40 at the first day of the year the Award is given, who have contributed to the development of one of the sciences with their researches or who have helped the resolution of country’s problems in these fields, was granted to Hacattepe University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Bozkaya, Bursa Technical University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Ali Rıza Yıldız, Bilkent University Faculty Member, Assist. Prof. Dr. Engin Durgun and Koç University Faculty Member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Keskin Avcı.
The award ceremony was organized in METU Culture and Congress Centre on 21 December. Together with the Research Encouragement Award, Science, Technology Encouragement, METU Lecturer of the 2014-2015 Academic Year and METU Thesis of the 2014-2015 Academic Year Awards also met their owners.
