TÜBA-GEBİP Member Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran in the World Science Forum…
2010 TÜBA GEBİP Member and Dean of the Faculty of Life and Nature Sciences at Abdullah Gul University, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, nominated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO and the World Association of Young Scientists was chosen as "2015 Young Scientist" and was invited to the World Science Forum which will take place in Croatia this year.
Approximately 600 scientists and politicians are invited each year to the World Science Forum which is one of the world's biggest science-oriented meetings. Prof. Dr. Baran is ranked among the young scientists under the age of 40 who are selected by the World Science Forum according to the criteria of leadership, academic excellence, community service, extraordinary creativity and global problems.
World Science Forum organized by the UNESCO, The International Council for Science, The American Association for the Advancement of Science, AAAS, The World Academy of Sciences, TWAS, The European Academies' Science Advisory Council, EASAC and Hungarian Academy of Sciences is considered as one of the world's most prestigious scientific meetings.
