The ‘TÜBA-Food, Nutrition and Prevention of Cancer Symposium’ will Take Place in Elazığ on May 23rd…
The ‘TÜBA-Food, Nutrition and Prevention of Cancer Symposium’, organized jointly by the TÜBA Cancer Working Group and the Food and Nutrition Working Group, will take place on May 23, 2015 with the contributions of the Fırat University in Elazığ.
The symposium, which is comprised of five sessions including ‘Total Legislation and Inspection’, ‘Eating Habits and Their Relation to Cancer’, ‘Food Preparation Techniques’ and ‘Obesity and its Relation With Cancer’, also includes a number of sub-headings.
During the symposium, which will start at 9:00 and conclude at 18:00; conferences by Prof. Dr. İrfan Erol titled ‘The Food Legislation and Inspection in our Country’, Prof. Dr. Tanju Besler titled ‘The Effects of Carcinogenesis and Immunity (Amino acids, Fatty acids, etc.) on Nutrition’, Prof. Dr. Hakan Akbulut titled ‘The Relation Between Nutrition and Cancer’, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Gültekin titled ‘The Obesity-Turkey Profile’, Prof. Dr. İlhan Satman titled ‘Diabetes, Obesity and Cancer’, Prof. Dr. Hakan Yardımcı titled ‘The Regulation of GDOs’, Prof. Dr. Fikrettin Şahin titled ‘GDO, Benefits and Harms’, Prof. Dr. Fatih Gültekin titled ‘Food Additives from a Biochemist’s Perspective’, Selman Ayaz titled ‘Food Additives Regulations’ and finally the conference titled ‘Chemoprevention of Cancer’ by Prof. Dr. Ömer Küçük.
