The Relationship Between Climate Change and Forest Fires in the TÜBA’s Book
The book “Forest Fires: Causes, Effects, Monitoring, Precautions to be Taken and Rehabilitation Activities” prepared by TÜBA and edited by Prof. Dr. Taşkın Kavzoğlu, TÜBA Associate Member and Gebze Technical University Faculty Member, was published. The book deals with forest fires in all their dimensions and from the perspective of the modern world.
TÜBA aims making up to date and original book studies that provide comprehensive scientific information in priority areas related to needs of Türkiye among its priority studies. In this context, TÜBA has published scientific works on sea mucilage, which emerged in the Marmara Sea and reached a serious threat over time. TÜBA has also carried out a
comprehensive study, brought together scientists from different disciplines and published the work, which also includes solution suggestions.
