The Kosovo Science and Art Academy Celebrated its 40th Year
TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar attended the 40th year celebrations of the Kosovo Science and Art Academy organized in Pristine on December 17-18.
The special ceremony organized for the occasion of the Science and Art Academy’s 40th year anniversary of establishment, was attended by President Atifete Yahyaga, Prime Minister İsa Mustafa, Parliament Chairman Kadri Veseli, TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar and many ministers and country representatives.
In the speech by Academy President Prof. Acar at the ceremony he said Turkey and Kosovo were countries with a very close bond and brotherhood. Emphasizing that the cooperation agreement between the two academies had contributed to the bond and cooperation between the two countries being carried even further, Prof. Dr. Acar said that the exchange of knowledge and experience between Turkey and Kosovo, especially in the field of education and many other joint tasks like student and academic teacher exchanges were ongoing and this cooperation would continue to be developed.
