The International Turkish Academy Introduction and Award Ceremony Takes Place
In the Introduction and Award Ceremony organized in the International Turkish Academy’s Turkish Language Association Conference Hall, TÜBA Honorary Member Prof. Dr. Halil İnalcık, Former Minister and Turkish Strategic Research Centre President Hasan Celal Güzel and the Turcologist Prof. Dr. Zeynep Korkmaz were granted a golden medal thanks to their scientific contributions to the Turkish World.
The ceremony was organized with the support of TÜBA, Ahmet Yesevi University and the Turkish Language Association. It welcomed the Former Minister of National Defense, Vecdi Gönül, the Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Yalçın Topçu, Istanbul MP Ekrem Erdem, Sakarya MP Prof. Dr. Mustafa İsen, the Advisor for the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara, Canseyit Tüymebayev, TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar, Hoca Ahmet Yesevi University Board of Trustees Chairman Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, Kirghizstan-Turkey Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Balcı, International Turkish Academy President Prof. Dr Darhan Kıdırali, the Turkish Language Association President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kaçalin, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency President Dr. Serdar Çam and several other participants.
