The Azerbaijani Embassy Delegation Visits TÜBA
A delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ankara paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, President of TÜBA.
The meeting, held as part of a courtesy visit, was attended by Dr. Fuzuli Macidli, Undersecretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ankara; Müjdat Hasanov, Undersecretary for Education; and Tural Gafarlı, Deputy Undersecretary for Education.
During the visit, discussions focused on further developing scientific and academic cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan. Particular emphasis was placed on joint research initiatives, academic and researcher exchange programs, and scholarship opportunities, while potential joint projects to strengthen the scientific ecosystems of both countries were also discussed. TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker emphasized that academic cooperation plays a crucial role in preserving the shared historical, cultural, and scientific heritage of Türkiye and Azerbaijan for future generations, and stated that TÜBA stands ready to contribute to initiatives that bring together scientists from both countries.
Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker presented the Azerbaijani delegation with a set of books published by TÜBA. The gifted works included the İtalyan Elçi Raporları (Italian Ambassador’s Reports) and The Historical Atlas of Turkic States, among other recent publications by the Academy.
