Results of the 8th Annual Summer School Applications
Applications to participate in the “8th Annual Summer School,” organized in collaboration with the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), the International Turkic Academy (Turkic Academy), the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), and hosted by Selçuk University, have been evaluated. A total of 76 students from 11 different countries have been accepted into the program.
The Summer School will be held in Konya from August 23 to 30, 2026, under the themes of Turkology, History of Art and Civilization, and Artificial Intelligence and Energy.
The Summer School on Turkology, Art, and History of Civilization will feature courses and seminars on topics such as Relations within the Turkic World, History of Turkic States, and Archaeology of the Turkic World, History of Art and Thought in the Turkic World, and Turkic Languages and Literatures. The program will provide a platform for young researchers working in the field of Turkology to share knowledge and experience, enhance their academic interactions, and establish international collaborations.
At the Artificial Intelligence and Energy Summer School, participants will learn about current developments in energy technologies, the challenges faced, and future opportunities through courses and seminars covering artificial intelligence, human resources, education, energy, and infrastructure. The program will address both traditional and contemporary approaches in the energy sector; energy production, energy management, sustainability, and technological transformation processes will be comprehensively evaluated. Furthermore, the relationship between the fundamental principles of energy production and innovative, sustainable solutions will be explored, and the role and potential of AI-powered applications in the energy sector will be discussed.
