New President of TÜBA
The Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic appointed Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat ACAR, one of the three presidential candidates elected by the General Assembly of TÜBA, as the new President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), on 26 July 2012. Prof. Dr. Acar is also the Vice President of Istanbul University.
