General Assembly of the Union Académique Internationale - UAI
Prof. Dr. Aydın Gülan, TÜBA Principal Member joined General Assembly meeting of The Union Académique Internationale – UAI heml on 11-17 November 2021 for representing TÜBA.
The last day of the General Assembly meeting was election for UIA president, vice president and board member. Prof. Dr. Klaus Herber from Germany was elected president, while Shoichi Sato from Japan and Claudia Rapp from Austria were unanimously elected as vice presidents.
Elzbieta Witkowska-Zaremba from Poland, Carmen Cardelle de Hartmann from Switzerland, Almut Hintze from England and José Remesal Rodriguez from Spain, Jens Braarvig from Norway and Paul Dostert from Luxembourg became members of the General Assembly of UAI.
