“G-Science Academies Meeting” Takes Place in Tokyo
The meeting organized in Japan on February 17-18, 2016 was attended by TÜBA President Prof. Ahmet Cevat Acar and Council Member Prof. H. Tayfun Özçelik.
In the meeting organized by the Japanese Science Council, "Brain, Disaster and Scientist Development" were discussed, the chairman and representatives of science academies in Germany, USA, France, England, Italy, Japan, India, Indonesia, South Africa, South Korea, Canada, Turkey and Brazil were in attendance.
Once the text including status determination and action plan suggestions on “understanding, developing and protecting global brain resources; sustainable disaster management and developing the scientists of the future,” and the recommendations for the future from participants are compiled in the final form, they will be shared with the relevant governments and public.
