Academy Member Prof. Dr. Namık K. Aras is Elected Vice President of the AASSA
Academy Honorary Member Prof. Dr.Namık K. Aras and Principal Member Prof. Dr. Reşat Apak participated in the inaugural General Assembly meeting of the Association of Academies of Sciences in Asia (AASA) held in conjunction with the symposium entitled “Improving the Quality of Life Through Science” and the workshop on “Science Communication Leadership” between 16-20 October 2012 in Sri Lanka.Prof. Dr. Namık K. Aras was elected Board Member and Vice President of the newly formed Association of Academies and Societies of Sciences in Asia (AASSA) at its inaugural General Assembly meeting. We congratulate and wish him success in his endeavors.
