A Cooperation Agreement Signed between TÜBA and SNAS

The bilateral cooperation agreement and application protocol between TÜBA and the Sudanese National Academy of Sciences-SNAS was signed on March 2, 2016.

TÜBA President Prof. Ahmet Cevat Acar stated the following on the subject; “The agreement we have made with the Sudanese National Academy of Sciences, one of Africa’s select Academies, has brought the number of academies we have bilateral agreements with to 31. We believe that the agreement will contribute to the development of our scientific relations with Sudan, a country we already have some common values with.”

The agreement and application protocol, signed by the Academy President Prof. Acar and the SNAS Chairman Prof. Mohamed H.A. Hassan, sets forth cooperation to be established between the two academies by organizing bilateral scientific meetings, symposiums, conferences and workshops as well as exchanging scientists, publications and information.
