A Cooperation Agreement Has Been Signed Between TÜBA and the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences
On April 30, 2015 TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar and Tatarstan Academy of Sciences President Prof. Dr. Myakzum Salakhov signed the “TÜBA and Tatarstan Academy of Sciences Cooperation Agreement” concerning cooperation on relevant activities between the academies of the two countries.
In the framework of the agreement, which was created during Tatarstan President Rustam Minnihanov’s visit with TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the parties agreed to develop cooperation and joint projects between the two academies paving the way for information, scientist and publication exchanges between the academies.
TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar said, “These agreements serve as both encouragement and incentive in terms of developing scientific cooperation. Through this agreement we have made with the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, which also represents a new stage in our relations, joint activities and cooperation will develop even more with exchanges of scientists and knowledge between the academies".
Separate cooperation agreements were also signed between TOBB and the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and between the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences and the Turkish Economic Policies Research Foundation and TOBB ETÜ (University of Economics and Technology).
