3rd TUBA International Stem Cell Course is Held

The 3rd International Stem Cell Course themed “Innovative Cellular Treatment of Hematological Oncology,” organized by TUBA and also supported by TIKA, took place in Antalya on May 19-22 with the participation of 102 domestic and international scientists selected among those previously applied.

Attended by selected participants from 33 institutions including universities and stem cell centers in Turkey and 11 countries including Turkic countries, regional countries, Jordan, Ukraine, Nepal and Moldova; the course aimed at updating knowledge of scholars, PhD candidates, biologists and technicians in Middle Asian Turkic societies, kin and neighboring societies; as well as promotion of the Turkish scientific society by putting new developments into application.

Course, which is organized by TUBA Stem Cell Work Group and lasted 2 days, included trainings on  “Biology of Stem Cell, Stem Cell practice from lab to the patient, collecting, counting and freezing, processing, keeping, recycling, coding, moving and infusing stem cells” along with the Practical Imposition Course.
