2015 “TÜBİTAK Science and Incentive Awards” to TÜBA Members
Among the receivers of “Science and Incentive Awards” that were agreed to be given in 2015 by TÜBİTAK Science Board, consisting of 4 science, 1 special and 13 incentive awards', there are four members of TÜBA.
TÜBA Associate Member Prof. Dr. K. Arzu Erdem Gürsan was given “TUBITAK Science” Award for her works carried out in the field of Health Sciences while TÜBA Associate Member Assoc. Dr. Hakan Parlakpınar in the field of Health Sciences, 2013 TÜBA GEBİP Member Assoc. Sinan Gezici in the field of Engineering Sciences and the 2015 TÜBA GEBİP Member Assoc. Dr. Saban Nazlıoğlu in the field of Social Sciences were entitled to receive 'TUBITAK Incentive Awards' for their achievements.
For the Science Award which is given to alive scientists who provided significant contributions to the science at the international level with their works in our country, the award consists of an amount of 50.000 TL for the year 2015, a gold plaque and reward charter. Research support is also given to the Science Award winners.
Special Award: Special Award was created as equivalent of Science Award and is given to alive scientists who contributed to science at an international level for their works abroad and are citizens of the Republic of Turkey. The amount for 2015 Special Award consists of $50,000 prize, a gold plaque and a reward charter.
Incentive Award is given to the alive scientists who have proven that they have the qualifications to make a significant contribution in their future work at an international level, and who have not passed the age of 40 on the first day of the year the award was given. Incentive Award for 2015 consists of 20,000 TL, a silver plaque and reward charter.

Science Award was given "for his high-quality work at the international level in areas such as the introduction of chaos generation with input and output mechanisms, resolving the second Peskar delusion, as well as contributing to the installation and development of the generalized differential equations theory connected to the piecewise constant argument and bringing scientific innovations such as special and one method development for the study of dynamics with discontinuities at various times and applicability of such theoretical discoveries to the mechanisms that have a pulse, blood pressure distribution, neural networks and population dynamics”.
