“Ambassador of New Europe 2016 Award” to TÜBA Principal Member Prof. Göle
TÜBA Principal Member Prof. Nilüfer Göle was awarded the Ambassador of New Europe 2016 Award with her book “European Muslims in Daily Life” by European Solidarity Center and Poland Jan Nowak-Jeziorański Eastern European College.
The Ambassador of New Europe 2016 award that was given to the book, makes a difference in Europe and published in Polish, and its writer eighth time for this year was presented to Nilufer Göle in the European Thinking Forum on May 25-27 at the European Solidarity Center Museum in Gdansk.
The book “European Muslims in Daily Life” in that Prof. Göle interprets the results of the field research that brings immigrant “ordinary Muslims” and their non-Muslim neighbors together in the face-to-face discussion meetings between 2009-2013 in the 21 European cities, was published in German, French, English and Polish.
