About Members

TÜBA Principal Members Prof. Osman Bülent Zülfikar, Prof. Mustafa Reşat Apak and 2014 TÜBA-GEBİP Member Assoc. Prof. Rabia Burcu Çakırlı Mutlu were deemed worthy of Most Successful Faculty Members Award with their researches and published works in 2016-2017 term within the scope of “High-Impact Scientific Work Awards”. The awards were given on October 12, 2017 at the opening ceremony for Academic Year of Istanbul University. Prof. Apak also held the International Patent Trademark Award.

2014 TÜBA-GEBİP Member Assoc. Prof. Özgür Şahin was awarded with the Medical Incentive Award” from Eczacıbaşı.

TÜBA Honorary Member Prof. İlber Ortaylı has been awarded the Presidential Culture and Art Grand Award of the year 2017 according to the statement made on 29 October Republic Day.

TÜBA Honorary Member and Illinois University Faculty Member Prof. Hüseyin Leblebici lost his life on October 4, 2017.

TÜBA Principal Member Prof. K. Arzum Erdem Gürsan and TÜBA-GEBİP Member Prof. Yusuf Baran were deemed worthy of the Turkish Pharmacists Association (TEB) Awards.
