TÜBA Young Academy Member Dr. Young Scientist Award to Ağaoğulları
TÜBA GEBİP Award winner and ITU Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Duygu Ağaoğulları was awarded the 2022 Young Scientist Award within the scope of the "For Women in Science" award program.
It has been implemented within the scope of cooperation between L'Oréal Turkey and UNESCO Turkey National Commission for twenty years to support gender equality in science, to encourage women's contribution to science, to crown young and talented women scientists and to ensure their recognition. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department Lecturer Dr. Ağaoğulları received an award in the field of physical sciences, as well as a scientific research support of 120.000 ₺. With the Ağaoğulları project, it reveals the potential of using advanced technology boron products of Turkey, which has approximately 75% of the world's boron reserves. With the project, Turkey's own resources will become much more efficient and profitable.
