Prof. Dr. Yücel Kanpolat, was elected member by the Senate of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (Academia Scientiarum et Artium Europaea) in the class of Medicine. Prof. Kanpolat’s membership was announced by a letter from the President of the European Academy Prof. Dr. h.c. Felix Unger, in March 2011. The European Academy of Sciences and Arts seated in Austria, has 1400 members of which 28 are Nobel Prize laureates.
